Green chutney is one of the famous and commonly made tomato chutney recipe in most of the Indian homes. Tomato and chili adds piquancy to the delicious tomato chutney. It is full in goodness of vitamins as it contains different veggies and spices.

  • 1 cup fresh coriander leaves washed
  • ¼ fresh mint leaves washed
  • 1-2 green chillies or to taste (chopped)
  • 1 medium sized tomato roughly chopped
  • 2 garlic clove peeled and roughly chopped
  • ½ inch piece fresh ginge r peeled and roughly chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp water approx
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or to taste
  1. Add cumin seeds, ginger and garlic in a grinder with 1 tbsp water and grind them until forms paste.
  2. Now add rest of the ingredients and grind again to make a smooth paste.
  3. Take out the chutney in a serving bowl and serve this Indian hot and spicy dip with any snack or meal.
