Take Indian garbanzo (Kala chana) soak it over night and cook till the chana is soft.

With a pestle or with rolling pin flatten each chana and let them dry for 3 to 4 hours.

Heat oil in a pan, add press chana in it and shallow fry it till become crispy.

Transfer fried chana on an absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

Add onions, chopped coriander, chopped green chili, chat masala, black salt, lemon juice and salt.

Toss it well to combine all ingredients.

Now garnish with shredded fresh coconut and corriander leaves.

If you are serving to kids, make a paper cone and fill with chaat , I am sure they would love to have it this way .

You can also serve crispy chana jor garam with a cup of ginger tea.
