										Peel and grate apples. Place a heavy bottom wok or pan over medium heat.

										Melt 2 tablespoon of butter or ghee and put shredded apples in wok. Saute until apples gets cooked.

										Add sugar and keep stirring the mixture. 
- 
										After adding sugar see the texture of cooked apples, they become mushy and little bit transparent. 
- 
										Now add 3 tablespoon of condensed milk and 1 cup of milk. Stir it continuously. 
- 
										Add mawa/khoya( if using it). Add crushed cardamom. Cook for another 5 min till the mixture gets a very thick consistency. 
- 
										Turn off the heat. 
- 
										Add chopped almonds and pistachios. 
- 
										Apple rabdi or kheer is ready to serve. Pour in a serving bowl and serve hot or cold.
