Pani puri recipe is the delicious Maharastrian street snack made up of puffed crunchy puri filled with green spicy water and sweet tamarind chutney.

Pani puri recipe

Pani puri is the street snack which I often make at home. I personally don’t like to eat it at street because of hygiene reason. I also request you all that don’t let your kids have the road side pani puri if you see that hygiene is not maintained. Many times children get sick even adult too.

This pani puri recipe is very simple to make at home. You can make puri at home and store them in airtight container and use whenever you want to have them. If you want to make puri recipe at home try this.  You can also use store bought puri to prepare the pani puri recipe.

I make green spicy water little tangy and sweet so I use tamarind juice and jaggery in it. But its just personal choice. You can alter the recipe as per your taste. If want more spicy increase chilli in the recipe.

Also in my pani puri recipe I love to have sweet tamarind chutney. It ‘s optional.

For stuffing I have shown the traditional method but now a days moong sprouts and black chana stuffing is also popular. Go ahead and try latest healthy stuffing variations.

To provide better understanding and clarity on preparation method I have added recipe video below. Please do subscribe Here  if you want me to make more videos. Hope you like it. Over to the recipe now.
