Lemon dill sauce recipe
Dill sauce is very delicious tangy sauce made with yogurt, dill leaves and lemon. It is a great way to replace mayonnaise in your meal. This way you can also cut calories.
This recipe takes few minutes to prepare and easy to prepare. I have also used chopped cucumber but you can use any of your favorite fresh vegetables to serve with this dip. Try red or green bell peppers, celery, cauliflower or grape tomatoes.
Dill leaves are beneficial for health.
Dill leaves holds many anti-oxidants, vitamins like niacin, pyridoxine, etc
Dill leaves has eugenol which is used as local-anesthetic and anti-septic.
Dill leaves are rich in many vitamins including folic acid, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin A, ß-carotene, vitamin-C that is essential for optimum metabolism inside the human body.
So it is a good practice to include dill leaves in diet. You can serve this dill sauce with any snacks and patties.

Ingredients
3 tablespoons fresh chopped dill leaves
1 small garlic clove, minced
½ cup cucumber, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Ground white pepper
Dill sauce preparation
Mix yogurt with chopped cucumber and dill leaves. Add lemon juice and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Serve the healthy dill sauce with any patties of your choice. If you are not going to use it instantly keep it refrigerated.
- 1 cup Greek-style plain full-fat yogurt
- 3 tablespoons fresh chopped dill leaves
